Caspersen Rowing Center


(1 S. Post Road, West Windsor, NJ)

From DC/Baltimore/Virginia

  • take Del Memorial Bridge into New Jersey
  • follow all signs to NJ Turnpike
  • DO NOT stay on 95 or head toward Philadelphia
  • once on NJ Turnpike follow directions listed below

From Mass/RI/Conn/Eastern NY State

  • take GW Bridge to NJ Turnpike/ I-95
  • once on NJ Turnpike follow directions listed below

From New Jersey Turnpike

  • Take Exit 8 Hightstown
  • Follow signs for Route 133 Princeton
  • Proceed straight through the light at CR571 (Princeton-Hightstown Road). Road name changes to Windsor Center Drive
  • At the stop sign turn left onto Old Trenton Road
  • Proceed 1.6 miles on Old Trenton Road
  • Turn right on Village Road
  • Proceed 2.5 miles on Village Road
  • Turn left onto South Post Road
  • follow South Post Road all the way down to Mercer Lake, 1 mile (boathouse on left)

From Route 1 North or South

  • Take the Alexander Road East Exit off of Route 1 towards the Princeton Junction Train Station
  • Alexander Road ends in a round about at North Post Road
  • Take the first right hand turn on the round about onto North Post Road
  • Proceed through two stoplights
  • North Post Road becomes South Post Road
  • Proceed straight past ‘Caspersen Rowing Center’ sign .
  • The Caspersen Rowing Center will be on your left as you reach lake.

From North on Route 206

  • Route 206 into Princeton
  • Left at traffic light by Borough Municipal Building onto Nassau Street
  • Go 3 traffic lights to Washington Road
  • Washington Road to U.S. Route 1 South
  • Use directions for “From North & South via US 1”

From Hightstown (Route 30)

  • Take Route 130/33 south and turn right onto Hankins Road
  • Turn Right on Hankins Road (first light past 130/33 merge)
  • Stay straight on Hankins for about 4.6 miles going thru 2 traffic lights.  Hankins turns into New Village Road and then into Village Road.
  • Turn left on Post Road
  • Follow Post Road past the “Caspersen Rowing Center” to Mercer Lake (boathouse on left)

From Allentown (Route 130)

  • Take Route 130 north and turn left at Hankins Road traffic light
  • Stay straight on Hankins for about 4.6 miles going thru 2 traffic lights.  Hankins turns into New Village Road and then into Village Road.
  • Turn left on Post Road
  • Follow Post Road past the “Caspersen Rowing Center” sign to Mercer Lake (boathouse on left)

From North and South via U.S. 1

  • U.S. 1 to Quaker Bridge Road (overpass at Quaker Bridge Mall)
  • South on Quaker Bridge Road (CR 533)
  • 2.1 Miles to Hughes Drive
  • Left onto Hughes Drive (Van Nest Wildlife Refuge near left corner)
  • Proceed on Hughes Drive to Mercer County Park entrance on left (0.5 miles)
  • Follow the signs in the Park to the Regatta site.

From DC/Baltimore/Virginia

  • take Del Memorial Bridge into New Jersey

From New Jersey Turnpike Exit 8

  • Take Exit 8 Hightstown
  • Follow signs for Route 133 Princeton
  • Proceed straight through the light at CR571 (Princeton-Hightstown Road). Road name changes to Windsor Center Drive
  • At the stop sign turn left onto Old Trenton Road
  • Proceed 3.5 miles on Old Trenton Road
  • The entrance to Mercer County Park will be on the right.
  • Follow the signs in the Park to the Regatta site.

From North on Route 206

  • Route 206 into Princeton
  • Left at traffic light by Borough Municipal Building onto Nassau Street
