As the spring season gets underway, we wanted to bring a couple of important calendar items to your attention:
Due to unrowable conditions forecasted for next week, we will go back to the Winter times for the Varsity. Novices will only practice on Tuesday.
Varsity Practice Times for Next Week (3/13-17)
Girls- 3:45-5:45
Boys- 5:45-7:45
Novice Optional Practice Tuesday (3/14)
Boys: 4-6 PM
Girls: 6-8 PM
Mandatory Parent Meetings:
- Varsity Parents: Saturday, March 18 at 9 AM (Caspersen Boathouse)
- Novice Parents: Saturday, March 25 at 9 AM (Caspersen Boathouse)
CRI/Gonzaga/National Cathedral Varsity Scrimmage (April 8-9):
We will be hosting 108 athletes (54 boys, 54 girls) for this annual scrimmage, and we will need all hands on deck to house all the visiting rowers. This is a great opportunity for our athletes to compete and to get to know rowers from other boathouses off the water — please consider being a host!
All that’s required of hosts is:
- House at least two visiting athletes from Saturday night to Sunday morning
- Provide transportation to and from the weekend venue(s) — driving must be done by a parent, not a fellow athlete
- Provide breakfast on Sunday morning
