Varsity

The Mercer Rowing Varsity Program is our year round, high performance racing team for high school aged athletes. The teams focus on training in preparation for competition at the Youth National Championships, which take place in early June.  The program is open to student athletes from all area schools.   However, the Mercer Junior Program is not open to the Hun School, Lawrenceville School and Peddie School students during seasons when those schools are running their own rowing programs.   Link to Varsity

Novice (1st Year)

The Mercer Novice Team is our introductory competitive rowing program for athletes from 9-11th grade.  The program is designed to prepare young athletes to successfully train and race on the Mercer Varsity Team.  Athletes are considered novice for the first year they are involved in the rowing program. Summer Programs

The Mercer Competitive Summer Program is open to all athletes who compete for teams based out of the Caspersen Rowing Center. These teams include Lawrenceville, Peddie, Hun, and the Mercer Juniors. Link Mercer Junior Summer Program

The week long Junior Learn to Row Summer camps are designed to introduce, juniors to the sport of rowing.  The participants go from learning the basics stroke at the beginning of the week to rowing in a race at the end of the week. No experience necessary. Open to rising 7th graders through 12th graders.  Link to Summer Learn To Row Camp
