The Mercer Summer Rowing Program is open to all Mercer rowers who have completed at least one season with the Mercer Junior Rowing Program. In addition, rowers from Peddie, Lawrenceville and Hun are welcome to join the summer program. Rowers outside of these programs who are interested in the Mercer Summer Rowing program can fill out THIS form.
The summer program will run from June 17 through August 5, 2024.
The practice schedule will be Monday through Friday as follows:
WEEK 1 (June 17-21)
Girls: 5:30-7:15 am
Boys: 1-3 pm
WEEK 2 (June 24-28)
Boys: 5:30-7:15 am
Girls: 1-3 pm
WEEK 3 (July 1-5)
Boys AND Girls: 5:30-7:15 am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.
Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5: OFF
WEEK 4 – 7 (July 8-Aug 5)
Boys: 5:45-8:00 am
Girls 6:15-8:30 am
Those racing at Canadian Henley will depart on Monday, July 29 and return Sunday, August 4. Those not racing at Canadian Henley will have practice as usual.
Saturday, July 20: Philly Youth Regatta, Philadelphia, PA
Trip Cost: covered in Registration Fee
Monday, July 29-Sunday, August 4: Canadian Henley (likely 3 boats each of boys and girls)
Trip Cost: Approx $750 (covers entry fees, travel, hotel, additional gear, some food)
