2019 Small Boats Regatta

Women’s and Men’s Collegiate and Junior Rowing Programs
The Princeton National Rowing Association is pleased to host the 2019 Small Boat Challenge, October 5-6 at the Caspersen Rowing Center on Lake Mercer, West Windsor, NJ.
Saturday, October 5:
Practice: 10:30a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Coaches and Athletes Meeting: 12:45 p.m.
Time Trials: tentative 2:00-5:30 p.m.
Sunday, October 6:
Finals: tentative 8:00a.m.-noon. Finals will start with D Finals followed by C Finals, then B Finals and finish with all boat class A Finals. Depending on number of entries, the finals schedule may be condensed.
W1x, M1x, W2x, M2x, W2-, M2-
There will be separate races for collegiate and junior events.
There is no lightweight category, however lightweight teams may enter as open boats.
On Saturday afternoon there will be a 1900 meter time trial. The results will be used to seed the finals. Finals will be 2000 meters utilizing a 6 lane racing format.
Depending on entries, each team may be limited to 4 entries per event. Teams are asked to submit applications for entries on RegattaCentral, prioritizing the entries.
Registration opens August 15, 2019
Entries should be submitted through RegattaCentral.

2x – $65
2- – $65
Registration closes on September 28, 2019: There is no late registration.
Athletes may double up in events but there will be no special accommodations made for this in the schedule.
Boats and Trailers
There is space for trailers at the Caspersen Rowing Center, however the space is limited and crews are encouraged to share trailers where it is possible.
Practice is allowed on the course from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2019.
